Admission is taken on the basis of entrance examination taken by JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The required information for admission is advertised by Deptt. Science and Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand in prominent news papers and websites. Admission forms are made available on payment through identified Bank and Post Offices. Applicant are required to appear for a written test of three hours duration in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and G.K. of Matriculation level, on a specified Date, Time and Venue. Successful Candidates are subsequently called for counseling to allot the College and Branch of study based on performance in the Entrance test and Candidates preferences.
Admission In Beharagora Polytechnic
Admission is taken on the basis of list of candidates received from JCECEB within a specified period with relevant documents, Certificates and Fees etc. are deposited in the college by due date specified. Latecomers may not get admission. The admission seats are limited for each course. The application form complete in all respects and accompanied with the 1st Year Fees and undermentioned documents be submitted to the Principal of the Polytechnic.
1.All original copies of Admit-Card, mark sheet and certificate of class X and SLC/CLC to be submitted.
2. Five Passport size photograph
3. Nativity/Permanent Residential Certificates of Jharkhand issued by S.D.O.
4. Cast Certificate in case of SC, ST or OBC issued by S.D.O.
5. In case of PH Candidate, PH certificate issued by C.S

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO 2-YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE UNDER VOCATIONAL TO DIPLOMA PROGRAM:
Candidate should have passed Intermediate Vocational Examination with any one of the subjects : Computer Science, Electronics Technology, Radio Tv Technician, Automobile Engg& Technician, Mining Geolgy.
OR
Candidate should have passed Matriculation Examination along with 2-Year ITI Prog.
OR
Candidate should have passed 10+2 (Science)/I. Sc. with Mathematics.
Attendance & Periodical Examination
Student must be regular in attending their classes including practical and internship, 80% attendance in each subject is compulsory for appearing in the examination. Regular examination shall be conducted through the session. In case of absence from any examination without any reasonable ground the students shall not be allowed to appear in the Board examination of Polytechnic..
