 Maanki Munda Chhatravriti Yojna

Guidelines for Diploma (Regular and Lateral Entry)

  1. Eligibility for Regular Entry
  1. The scheme is available only for female students presently enrolled in Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) affiliated full time Diploma Program in colleges in Jharkhand (Government, Private or in PPP mode).
  2. The scheme shall be applicable to students from academic year 2023-24.
  3. The student enrolled in Diploma course must have passed class 10th from a school in Jharkhand.
  4. Students already pursuing the course shall also be eligible under the scheme. However, they must have been promoted with minimum 50% marks and without any Back paper (fail in any subject). Further, the scholarship under the Yojna shall be stopped if the student gets a Back Paper anytime after the receipt of scholarship benefits.
  5. The yearly family income from all sources of the student should not exceed 8 lakhs per annum. The student availing the scheme shall have to provide valid income  certificate

OR

The student must be covered under the National/ State food security scheme.

 

  1. Students availing the Maanki Munda Chhatravriti Yojna should not be availing benefits under any other central or state scholarship schemes.
  1. Eligibility for Lateral Entry

 

  1. The scheme is available only for female students presently enrolled in Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) affiliated full time Diploma Program in colleges in Jharkhand (Government, Private or in PPP mode).
  2. The scheme shall be applicable to students from academic year 2023-24.
  3. The student enrolled in Diploma course laterally must have passed class 10th and

12th from a school in Jharkhand or must have passed class 10th from a school in Jharkhand along with ITI course from an ITI located in Jharkhand.

  1. Students already pursuing the course shall also be eligible under the scheme. However, they must have been promoted with minimum 50% marks and without any Back paper (fail in any subject). Further, the scholarship under the Yojna shall be stopped if the student gets a Back Paper anytime after the receipt of scholarship benefits.

OR

  1. Scheme Benefits for Regular and Lateral Entry

Candidates meeting the basic eligibility criteria, upon selection, shall receive an yearly scholarship of INR15,000/- per year for their course duration.

General Instructions for Regular and Lateral Entry

  1. The scheme benefit shall be transferred through DBT to the student.
  2. At any time during the duration of the Scheme, if it is found that the student is availing scheme benefits through forged documents, the scheme benefits will be immediately stopped for the student and she shall be liable to repay the scheme benefit so far received along with a compound interest of 12%
  3. Application to be submitted by 27th of February 2024.
